COVID-19 Test Fund
The insurance and takaful industry has pledged RM 8 million to the COVID-19 Test Fund (CTF) in support of the Ministry of Health Malaysia’s (MOH) efforts to conduct more COVID-19 tests for Malaysians. Insurance policy holders with group or individual medical coverage and health insurance policies are eligible to claim from the CTF if they have been referred by registered doctors to undergo the COVID-19 tests. These tests need to be conducted at recognised private laboratories as listed on the MOH website. This funding is available for tests done from 27 March 2020 onwards.We have appended some Frequently Asked Questions on the COVID-19 Test Fund for your reference. Deferment of Premium Payment
In line with Bank Negara Malaysia’s announcement in response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) Relief Program, Tokio Marine Life policy owners can now apply for a deferment of premium payment for a period of up to 3 months.
