The Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII) organised the 13th MII Inter-Insurance Companies Bowling Tournament 2019, held at the Sunway Megalanes, Sunway Pyramid. The much-awaited annual tournament gathered bowlers and supporters from 33 insurance companies in Malaysia.
In her welcoming remarks, Shalini Pavithran, the CEO of The Malaysian Insurance Institute expressed her gratitude to the participating companies for their support and enthusiasm to compete in the friendly tournament. She added that MII will continue to play a role to encourage healthy and active lifestyle. “In the near future, MII will be organising more sports and active lifestyle events for the industry.
We believe engagement with the industry, other than for business purposes, is essential to strengthen relationships and promote healthy lifestyle. It is also important to realize that looking after the well-being and health of our people is not only the responsibility of the individual but also our corporate responsibility.”
A total of 240 bowlers competed in the 48-lane arena. The coveted prize as Champion of the 13th MII Inter-Insurance Companies Bowling Tournament 2019 went to Team Lucky Strikes of Sime Darby Lockton Insurance Brokers Sdn Bhd. Other categories and winners of the tournament are listed below:

At the end of the tournament, tokens of appreciation were given to this year’s sponsors.
