The global coronavirus outbreak has created an increasing number of challenges to our industry. In this unique situation we find ourselves in now, it is critical to make it possible for companies and individuals to be able to continue operations or progress professionally to help each of them respond to the unique demands that they may be facing.
In collaboration with our technology partners, the Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII) has introduced the Virtual Computer-Based Examinations (VCBE), where examinations are conducted online using video technology on digital platforms with remote live invigilation. In line with the standards adopted by other international test centres across the globe, MII’s VCBE was introduced in April 2020 with remote live invigilation. The introduction of virtual examinations in April for life insurance agents’ examinations and in June for general insurance agents’ examinations allows candidates to take MII examinations anytime, anywhere.
In addition to that MII has enhanced the process of registration for the agents’ examination to allow for Self-Registration via its Integrated Learning Management System (iLMS). The Self Registration will allow bookings to be made for sessions beginning 1st June 2020 onwards for the following Agents’ Examination routes:
1. Pre-Contract Examination for Insurance Agents (PCEIA)
(Route – Life – AC and CO / General – AB and BO)
2. Certificate Examination in
Investment-Linked Life Insurance (CEILLI)
3. Pre-Contract for Life Insurance Agents and Investment-Linked Life Insurance Examination (PCIL)
