Etiqa Academy is the centre for knowledge and skills development for Etiqa Insurance & Takaful’s agents, and in this digital age, having the latest insights and knowledge can give agents an edge. With this in mind, the team from Etiqa Academy recently rolled-out myKASH, which stands for my Knowledge, Attitude, Skills and Habits; the four key elements that help agents to be successful in their sales & career.

The initiative, which enables agents to accelerate their learning while being on-the-go, was launched at Etiqa’s headquarters, Dataran Maybank.
The event was officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Majid Mohamad, Chairman of Etiqa General Takaful Berhad and Etiqa Family Takaful Berhad, En. Kamaludin Ahmad, Group CEO, Etiqa Insurance & Takaful, En. Shahrul Azuan Mohamed, Etiqa’s Chief Agency Officer and En. Mohamad Adli Alias, Head of Academy.

myKASH is a platform for agents to engage in learning through learning modules, and enables users to take part in discussions with other users via its social features. Powered by Etiqa Academy’s business partner, Teamie, the platform’s key attraction is its mobility as users can access the platform using any device, whether through android, iOS, personal computers or laptop, at any given time, allowing Etiqa agents to learn on-the-go while executing their daily tasks. In addition to keeping up-to-date with the latest knowledge, the learning done through myKASH contributes towards the agents’ Continuous Professional Development (CPD) hours and includes mandatory training such as anti-money laundering act, New Life Framework 5 KPIS (NLF5) and product training.

myKASH is available for all Etiqa agents from all channels. “True to Etiqa Academy’s tagline that Knowledge Mandates Action, the introduction of myKASH will enable our agents to attain the necessary knowledge and skills to shape their attitudes and habits, so that they will be able to take the necessary actions to enhance customer experience by providing solutions based on the customers’ needs,” said En. Muhammad Adli Alias, Head of Academy.
